Image source: http://specialists.hkacademy.edu.hk/art1.html There is a very special connection between our library and the art room: books! Both Ms. Regi and I have a real passion for picture books. We love chatting about and discovering new picture books. I also know that she often begins her classes by sharing a picture book with the students. Students are then encouraged to respond creatively to the books. Recently, G1 and PK2 students created art work in response to Peter H. Reynold's book, The Dot. Thereby, they joined over a million other students in 82 countries around the world, in celebrating International Dot Day.
